Occupational Therapist
Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a temporary, part-time 0.6 FTE (3 days/week or 24 hours/week) Occupational Therapist. The location of this assignment include the following campuses: Estevan, La Ronge, Swift Current, Saskatoon, Kenaston, Yorkton, Moose Jaw, Regina, Prince Albert, Nipawin and Meadow Lake. The campus location will be based on the successful candidate’s principal residence. The position will commence on May 11, 2026, or on another mutually agreed-upon date. This temporary position will conclude on April 30, 2027, or upon the return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first.

Sask DLC’s head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses located in Estevan, La Ronge, Swift Current, Saskatoon, Kenaston, Yorkton, Moose Jaw, Regina, Prince Albert, Nipawin and Meadow Lake.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
Reporting to the Superintendent of Student Supports, the Occupational Therapist (OT) provides services that support students in developing the physical, sensory, and motor skills needed for participation and success in school and daily activities. The OT works collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to support students in both academic and functional skill development. Services may include assessment, intervention, consultation and program planning, with delivery online and in-person formats. The OT also plays a key role in building the capacity of school staff and families through professional learning, coaching and resource development.
