Project Finance Administrator (Student)
Position Summary
The Project Finance Administrator (Student) will be responsible for providing general financial support to the Project Team in processing and tracking financial data for a complex multi-year, multi-million dollar program.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Assist the Project Coordinators (finance), Warehouse, and Service Delivery team in processing supplier invoices;
Track progress on related tasks;
Support in creating client invoices;
Work closely with cross functional teams such as Finance, Contracts & Legal, Procurement, and Quality on project requirements;
Perform special project assignments as requested by the Project Team and
Provide backup to other team members as required.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent – in progress
Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
Advanced proficiency with Excel
Attention to detail
An interest in working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
All applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian NATO Secret security clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program and ITAR Program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with an ERP system is an asset
Experience working within a financial environment is an asset
Special Position Requirements
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Physical Environment: Hybrid working environment – mix of home and onsite (as required)
