The Manager, Taxation is responsible for all aspects relating to the company’s tax reporting systems. This includes establishing and maintaining tax records, preparing tax returns and other related management reports, as well as ensuring that the internal and external tax reporting system is accurate and complete for reporting and compliance purposes. Compliance includes providing required financial information to federal, provincial and foreign taxation authorities. This role also develops and implements tax-planning strategies to minimize company tax liabilities and participates in financial accounting and management functions, such as maintaining management reports and posting journal entries.
Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.

The estimated salary for this position is $135,000 – $165,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
