Job Description and Responsibilities

Join EVRAZ North America’s Calgary team as a Logistics Coordinator and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the transportation of goods by truck, coordinating with carriers, shippers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments while optimizing costs, adhering to regulations, and resolving any logistical issues that may arise.

• Organize, plan, coordinate, execute and monitor continuous shipments
• Document and monitor costs of transportation including reporting and carrier performance
• Audit billing and payment needs related to truck transportation
• Maintain current database on shipment tracking and customer data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years experience with transportation of goods by truck, flat deck experience preferred
• Working knowledge of supply chain management & logistics
• Ability to plan, organize and execute schedules in a changing environment
• Demonstrated experience in auditing and data management (e.g. invoices, BOLs)
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
