Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is currently looking for a General Helper/Room Attendant at ourChristina Lake Lodge, located near Conklin, Alberta. The successful candidate will have a particular focus on kitchen duties, cleanliness and customer service. This person will work as a member of the housekeeping team for 10 days, then the kitchen team for 10 days to help ensure we maintain an efficient, effective working environment. Reporting to the designated Supervisor, the successful candidate will work 20 days on and 10 day off rotation.
Please note that this is a seasonal position (April-September)
Key Responsibilities – Room Attendant
General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Making beds and changing sheets as per the schedule.
Sanitizing washrooms including shower stalls, shower mats, sinks, toilets, and floor after each shift change.
Proper cleaning and sanitation of rooms and public bathrooms.
Changing sheets as per the schedule.
Washing laundry machines in and out as required.
General cleaning maintaining and stocking carts.
Filling out checkroom sheets.
Snow removal.
Report any damage, theft, and abandoned articles to the supervisor.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities – General Helper
Washes pots, dishes, glasses, cups and all other kitchen equipment after each meal and as needed
Assists with putting away groceries using the First In, First Out method (FIFO)
Sweeps and mops kitchen/dining room floor after each meal
Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area
Replenishes desserts, beverages and condiments as needed
Assists the Cook with inventory
Taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Food Safety certificate required.
ProServe certificate is required for handling liquor.
Previous experience in a housekeeping and kitchen position is an asset.
Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs.
