The Employee Relations Generalist works in the Employee Relations department and supports Business Leaders on subject area issues, grievance resolution, collective agreement interpretation and administration, while also supporting the delivery of Seaspan’s strategic talent management and retention strategy. Reporting to the Senior Employee Relations Manager, the ER Generalist supports assigned business units to provide expertise and advice on employee relations and human resources matters. Based in North Vancouver supporting our Vancouver Shipyards, the ER Generalist will collaborate and work closely with the wider Employee Relations team on strategic projects across all Seaspan’s business units.
Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.

The estimated salary for this position is $82,700 – $99,200. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
