The Ability Management Specialist provides case management support and direction to employees and stakeholders for occupational and non-occupational injuries1 and illnesses in accordance with Seaspan’s Ability Management Program. Aside from internal collaborators (i.e. Supervisors, HR, Payroll), this role interacts with healthcare professionals, and insurers (i.e. WSBC, Insurance companies, ICBC) to facilitate restoration of health and function and ultimately supports a safe and timely return to work. The Specialist also supports Seaspan’s wellness program and numerous initiatives.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue in North Vancouver. After 90 days of on-site work and onboarding, employees will be eligible to work one day per week from home.

The estimated salary for this position is $82,700 – $99,200. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
